Any second now, Chicago will hit 600 murders on the year. And we're only half way through October. For reference, they had 509 in all of 2015 - and even that 509 was a recent high for them.

I remember back in March thinking there was no way the city would meet this year's projected murder total. Not only did I underestimate that city's lust for blood, I grossly underestimated it. Unless Chicago has an absolutely brutal (& prolonged) winter, the city really could reach 700 murders.

They probably all know each other. Gangs and stuff. Putting on these games like chicken fights. They should be on TV. We could make bets on which one will get shot next. When football fizzles out, this might be the next big thing.

People are getting killed that way too. Normally hatchets are used for high level gang members and are left in trunks of Abandon cars around the city.

They should have just left Larry Hoover and Gino Colon alone or Atleast in the Illinois Prison system, they are the only people that can control the Chicago streets. It's no coincidence that once they was moved to ADX Florence plus the tearing down of housing projects and shutting down Inner city schools that Chicago streets started to run with blood

Immgoing to go out on a limb and say that those two being in prison have very little to do with crime and that your last two reasons are more the cause

The sad thing is I went in knowing the Bengals had no chance so I watched some 2 hour documentary on JFK instead. It kept me awake, which is more than I can say about the Bengals.

I wish people in Texas still talked like that. I think now they speak with a mixture of Yankee/Spanish.
