Chicago's Spike in Homicides Is Frightening

The site heyjackass.com tracks homicides in Chicago. Different sites have different yearly totals, but as long as you use one consistently, Chicago's spike in murders from 2015 to 2016 is undeniable & alarming. And 2015 was one of the worst in a while (509 total). So far this year, the Windy City has had 750 murders.

It's part of the point. Chicago is the epicenter of gang violence because it is a hub for narcotics. Most of the narcotics we have in this country come directly from Mexican Cartels. A large number of these killings are done by illegal Mexican immigrants, or occur because of the dope illegal Mexican immigrants are bringing into this country. So, yeah. It kind of is the point.

Because the spike in murders in that city is insane. 2015 ended with an amount not seen in years. And 2016 has had 50% more than 2015 & there's still over two weeks left to go. If that's not enough for it to be a point of conversation then I really don't know what is.

Someone already pointed it out, but "is" is singular, "are" is plural.

Anyway, it's not a redneck response, it's a personal responsibility response, one that says people need to own what they do. Let's go down your path where Whitey supplies all the guns and drugs to the hood to keep the black man down. In the world of personal responsibility, the black man doesn't have to take the drugs and he doesn't have to use the weapons.

You know, the black man from Detroit and Columbus bring a ton of drugs into Huntington, but I choose not to buy them. I own several guns, but I have never used one of them to shoot anyone, and never will unless they try to break in my house.

Something you can't seem to grasp is that the man in the mirror is always responsible for 99% of your problems and 100% of your solutions.

Or how about we convince the people with the guns to NOT MURDER. These are bad people who do bad things, and will continue to do bad things until we address the ROOT CAUSE of why they are lowlife POS. Take a gun away from a low-life , they're still a low life. Its not like these are otherwise good people who just so happened to accidentally murder someone because they got a gun from their friendly neighborhood Columbian drug dealer.
