Christian Woman Kills Her 2 Kids: Had they Talked Back?

A Christian woman in Texas killed her two very young children. Below are some of her Christian Facebook posts.

Knowing that she was a devout Christian, is it possible that her children simply talked back to her and she followed her religious teachings to kill them?

Christians continue to get persecuted based on their religious beliefs.

She may have simply been following what her religious text tells her to do. Religious freedom is being infringed upon. Christian persecution.
 
"Spare the rod" doesn't mean to kill your children.

Deuteronomy 21:

18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.

21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

You were meant to find this and read the verse she posted on Facebook. God has a plan for you.

Several things:

We don't know she was a Christian. If she was, she wouldn't be living under the Deuteronomy laws.

I don't think the child in Deuteronomy was 1 or 2 years old, as I doubt 1 or 2 year olds would have been drunkards.

Advice to those who were rebellious and drunkards and not being agreeable with their parents....Don't be doing that, it could get you killed.

Her frequent social media posts shows that she is a Christian. The OT was not to be completely wiped away for Christians. The OT is a very major part of your religion. You shouldn't be so ashamed of it and hide from it.

The Bible doesn't say to call drunkards "drunkards." It says to claim children who rebel against their parents are "drunkards" before executing them. The Bible doesn't care if the child is a drunkard or not. It just directs a parent to claim that a rebellious child is a drunkard before killing them.

Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

It just directs a parent to claim that a rebellious child is a drunkard before killing them.

No where in the Bible does it command someone to lie.
 
Christians are followers of Christ....check the new testament for material.
 
An atheist wont be able to understand the spiritual meaning of most of the new testement. Never listen to anyone that doesnt believe in God but pretends to know about God.

No real Christian who understands their religion believes that the OT is "just history now." Hell, Jesus said the exact opposite:


He “did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it” (Matthew 5:17.) To emphasize this further, he said "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled"

It can't be any more clear than that.

No where in the Bible does it command someone to lie.

You should try explaining that scripture. It doesn't say to claim that the child is a drunkard if he/she is a drunkard. It say that if a child rebels to his/her parents, the parents should proclaim that he/she is a drunkard and have him/her stoned to death.

No. Jesus did not say just the opposite. He said what you have quoted above. And he did just exactly what you quoted. He did not destroy the law, that requires tearing it up or tearing it down. He replaced it with himself, that is how the law was fulfilled. In addition to what I quoted in the earlier post (25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster,
Jesus also said:

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law

And when Jesus was getting ready to die on the cross, offering himself as a perfect sacrifice, it put an end to the law and he declared it plainly.....

John 19:30 It is finished:

Yes, this real Christian is telling you that the law is history. It's done. It's completed. We don't live under it.
