Clemson DB transfers to MU

HD is reporting a Clemson DB is transferring from portal to Marshall. Played in 11 games last year and has 2 years of eligibility.

Spring ball will essentially be like preseason NFL camp and borderline players will either be allowed to stay or have a similar type meeting as Huff did with the former coaches. I‘m told Huff will try to help them find new landing spots and not just show them the door, but it’s a business. You either win or you eventually get fired and Huff knows that. Huff will make room as needed.

It seems like this is the exact situation Marshall should be taking advantage of under Coach Huff... Williams is a graduate student who finished his degree early and has two years left. According to the Clemson board he was going to be a backup on the Tigers depth chart next year (barring injuries) and was looking for a place to get starter snaps. Seems like a good kid, obviously a good student, and a guy who wants to get on the field.
