Coastal Carolina

CCU clearly the best team in SBC I've seen this year, including us. Their offense is massively effective in all phases with the exception of running up the middle. Everything else is PDG.

They had to come back late to beat Gardner-Webb, and rally late to beat Buffalo.

No arguing against undefeated and they do have the best QB in the league, so they can get anyone on any given night. But I just don’t think their D holds up through conference play.

I have seen them play live. Not sure that I would agree with your statement.

We will see, but they have also had 3 of their first 4 games at home. Then, GA State on the road who is 0-3. Then, they also get GA Southern at home. The early schedule is in their favor. Army is 1-2(one win over Villanova). They barely beat Gardner Webb.

Very solid qb, decent skill position. BUt, not a physically imposing football team in terms of size. Very, very well coach though. I think their defense will be suspect when they start meeting phsyical teams. Again, their early schedule is very favorable to them.

But, I would think I like how we stack up against them at home. Appalachian thus far is clearly the team to beat so far in our division. They could very well be undefeated, should have beat UNC.

I wasn't impressed other than their offensive play calling. They are diverse. McCall is good but GA State wasn' t very good. I think we beat them easily if we play solid.

After last week you still believe we're going to "easily" beat anyone? Getting them at home is a huge plus, but after losing to BG there isn't a gimme left on this schedule save for G-W.

The one thing I've noticed about CC is that they've looked a little better each week. Which is understandable due to how much they've lost. Still they have McCall and really good coaches. As the season wears on it makes sense they'd improve.

Moglia kind of threw Chadwell under the bus a few weeks back. I’ve heard from someone in the business that there may have been some recruiting infractions involving Chadwell. Something to keep an eye on anyways.

Is that even possible in today's CBF?

We have them at home. I'm confident. Their lines aren't big and I think we are just a quick as they are, all over the field. But that's just me.

Here is the truth about this Marshall team so far. We can pretty much play with any team....however we can also lose to any team. Thats the only read I have through 3 games. We will know more tomorrow night.
