Is MU involved with these kids? History says they should be. Legursky, Mike Barber, Aaron Dobson, Larry McLeod and others like these instate kids have had great careers at MU. Just wondering .

Both of these athletes could be contributors at Marshall. Collier is electrifying with the football in his hands and has great speed and lateral agility. Bagent is extremely accurate passer with a high football IQ and strong arm. Truck Edwards was also extremely impressive for Bluefield this season.

I’ve only seen one game live, which was the AA State Championship, but he was impressive. I’ve also watched some film. He is around a 6’ 220 lbs. FB/LB. I’d guess he’s going to be a FB in college. He is extremely physical and runs with a purpose. He’s a punishing blocker and is always looking to deliver contact.

No problem! I’ve honestly never heard anything like that regarding Collier. I’ve read that Bluefield’s HC Fred Simon thinks very highly of him on and off of the field. He had a very good junior season, but I think the year he had as a senior solidified the fact that he is a D1 FBS-caliber athlete. I think bigger programs are just now starting to take notice.

Collier also stars in basketball and track. Believe we lose our punt returner, Hyleck Foster, and after next season lose our main kickoff returner, Davis. Collier may be worth a scholarship for with his speed and elusiveness he could fill both those special team jobs for several seasons!

Hopefully this highlight reel will reach a member on the staff. There is definitely a spot on the team for a kid like Mookie Collier. Mookie is an amazing athlete on the field and an even better person off of the field.
