What reason was there to fire him? And don't say because he misspoke about the Clinton emails. If he wanted to get rid of him then don't wait four months into his presidency to pull the trigger

The notion that Comey was fired to keep Trump's Russian connections under wraps is absurd. Think about it - If the investigation had revealed any evidence whatsoever to date, Comey is going to Congress and the press and vomiting up everything he knows to get back at you for sh*t-canning him. Now, did Trump fire him because he didn't or wouldn't dig something up to go after the Clintonss? Seems a bit more likely and consistent with Trump's petty mindset.
By the way, it's hilarious to me that the left is saying Trump is Nixon while completely ignoring how Obama's utilization of Eric Holder went beyond how Nixon utilized Mitchell.

And every single bit of his rationale had been known since the beginning. Trump didn't need his recommendation to fire comey. He used it as cover. You can support trump all you want but you can't completely ignore how terrible his administration is being ran

And now the FBI has executed a search warrant on a GOP fundraising firm in Maryland. No word on if it's released to trump campaign/Russia investigation but timing is awfully coincidental
