I will not be impressed until I know his time. I'm 53, have a partially torn MCL, and could finish a marathon. It would just take me 9 hours.
If you know his name, it is easy to look up. I will allow him to respond as I do not want to steal his thunder.
I know who he is, but like a regular guy I never pass up the opportunity to make fun of another guys accomplishments. Something like "man, you got beat by almost 1,000 women."
8 minutes per mile is pretty good for a guy not from Kenya. My wife averages about 9.5 minutes per mile, doing half marathons. Wish it took her 15 minutes per mile, so I could hang out at the bar longer while she's competing.
That is pretty cool. Especially in those conditions, I didn't want to walk the dog yesterday, forget running a damn marathon.
I'm amazed at how the hell people can run marathons. The furthest I ever ran non-stop was in the military and that was a distance of 10 miles. I was so damn bored, because it took forever, and then by the time we stopped running, my whole body felt like Jell-O for about an hour.
Yep, I’m not sure which was worst the running 13 miles in cammies and boots or the 33 mile hike with full combat load. I swore I’d never run past a 5k when I got out, and I haven’t. My wife on the other hand lives for that shit. She’s done marathons, half marathons, half iron man, I volunteer to keep the kids and chill for hours in the beer tent and snap a few pics at the finish line. #winning
A girl from my rival high school ran the Boston Marathon. She is a professional runner (it's her only job). She has been in two Olympics, has numerous current American records, was a ten-time D1 All-American, etc. So, she is pretty fvcking accomplished and talented in distance running.
She had a poor race, but in looking at her numbers, she only finished a little over a minute faster per mile than Murox and finished in the top 20 for women. That's pretty damn impressive for Murox. I don't know if he wants his pace posted, but it's very impressive for a 26 mile run.
And even though some of you may be thinking that I am posting this to compliment Murox, I actually just wanted to remind him that he lost to a girl in an athletic event.

You see, what 1988 doesn't understand is the dynamic on Pullman Square. Herdman, Banker, Raleigh, Sisters, BC, etc. take plenty of shit from me and give plenty of it back. But I also know that when somebody from outside of the family attacks, they will be first in line to defend me. And it holds true with me if somebody comes after them. And when Ducky inevitably realizes that spending time with his new boyfriend's family on the holidays isn't as fun as being with us, the same will hold true for him when he returns. Hell, Marine, we have even gone at it a handful of times.
With 1988, he doesn't understand that dynamic, because he is truly a moron. For instance, on the main board, he supports people who are wanting me banned. He supports morons outside of the family who say things about me on the main board. He doesn't understand how this works. The fact that he has been here long enough to understand yet can't learn is further proof that he is a moron. He has no loyalty. His character wouldn't have made it to The Godfather Part II because he would have been taken care of.
He's not part of the family. It's important that we all recognize and acknowledge that. I am not requesting that we bring Luca Brasi into the fold to take care of this issue, but I want everyone to understand what we have in the room with us.
The only people I ever wanted banned was those crazy ass women that tried to ruin the forum. But, we just ran their ass out of here. Talk about coming together for a common cause. That was it.
