you know I think these colors are okay. However, I hope we don't totally abandon the Green and white uniforms
Relating MU slowly adding black as a third color in the mid-2010s to a black stripe added in 1971 is unrealistic. And it does not explain the use of the color in other sports.
Remember, MU has also used yellow (late Sonny era), and Silver (Chaump era) as third colors. Explain those.
I suspect that this whole era of goofy uniform variations every week is already starting to burn itself out. Oregon/Nike has run out of ideas and everybody else will too soon.

Carl Tacy even had a little bit of red in his basketball unis. I thought that looked good, but there is a tendency to overdo it, as we have with the black.

are we the only fan base in america that complains about our uniforms this much? who cares, you don't think it looks good? I hate that for you but guess what, a lot of people like the uniforms. This is part of growing up and being an adult, you don't always get your way.
Personally I think the uni combs this year have been the best in years. Especially this one worn at NC State.

Why does this thread continuously come up? Hell let’s change school colors to pink and chartreuse- something no other college team has. Then add black to it.
Seems like the team is doing well since Chuck's gotta dig up an old .doc file and change a few words and send it in.
I like the use of black as an accent, I think the current uni's are pretty sweet, especially when compared to stuff we've had in the past (like the old white mesh road jerseys).
I don't like black uniforms though, because that's a fad that was old when Ohio did it in 2011, made worse because we just use it to flog the plane crash.
