Did Brendan Knox play last night ?

I thought he looked alright. He looks so much smaller on the NFL field compared to college.
Going to be hard to make that team, Hardy, the other late game RB actually looked really really good.

4 carries, 12 yards. He screwed up by leaving a year early. Nothing I’ve read mentions him possibly make their roster.
Love the guy, but leaving early always screws our players. By going early without fanfare, they wind up being UDFAs instead of draft picks, and that makes you the most expendable player on the roster. There's no guarantee you'll get a real look, because the GM loses nothing if you get cut. Even the guy they took in the Seventh Round will get plenty of carries, but you might not.
Before anybody mentions Ahmad Bradshaw, please keep in mind he made almost as much money in his fourth season ($1 million) as he did in his first three seasons combined ($1.115 million). The Giants got a tremendous back for dirt cheap, and if he had gotten hurt on his rookie contract, they'd have been out nothing and he'd have hardly anything to show for his pro career. That whole "I gotta get out of college so I don't get hurt" thing doesn't necessarily end when you bolt.

Some teams don’t want to show off their young guys in preseason games because they want to stash them on the practice squad and develop them over the next few years to take over for a veteran later down the line. Another team can claim them on their active roster to steal the player if they impress.
Some players have to bounce around from team to team for multiple years before they find the right situation (lack of talent in front of them/scheme fit). Raheem Mostert was on 6 NFL rosters over two seasons before landing in SF in 2016, where he made a name for himself on special teams. He got thrown into the RB rotation in 2019 and rushed for 220 yards and 4 TDs in an NFC Championship game.
If a guy can play, he’ll find a spot if he sticks with it.

Is Bradshaw the only guy to really make it after leaving early? Knox, Litton, Marshall and others should stay and play out their college careers. Lets be honest, our guys don't play against P5 talent (future NFL) week in and week out. They play against the Charlottes of the world. I love our guys but at some point a realistic view of their skill and upside has to be considered.
This is an outlier but Randy Moss left early and did pretty good. But, at every level he played in, it was like man vs. boy.
Yeah, Randy was a once in a lifetime talent. Asterisk on that one.
Knox had one really good run for 10 yards but it was called back for a penalty. He didn't lose any yards as he always kept going forward like he did in college but as mentioned Dallas looks loaded at RB.

I’m not sure another season in college would’ve improved his draft stock much, he wasn’t going to get faster. He’d probably be an UFA no matter what
