H/D this Thursday morning said Chase may be going back to #14 jersey and get rid of #1.

Is this a sign of maturity or a "suggestion" from players and/or coaches ????

Or perhaps he realizes that he is not worthy of the #1 at the moment. Kid needs to work harder and mature and earn it back. Not sure though what else the young man can do with Bill Legg being his position coach!

That's too much of a route combination for Legg to think off. Remember we run an uptempo offense, so we gotta keep things simple.

Sluggo is just too much on Legg's mind

Why - because over the years too many people wearing the number have unfortunately considered themselves to be just that in their own minds. Not a number as a coach I would allow if for no other reason than to denote the fact a team has no one number one player , its team - or so its supposed to be - too many times you see someone wearing the number and you really have to wonder what they are thinking when it comes to the team , themselves or the team.

Just my deal with the number one - found also many times a guy actually worthy of the number will not wear it , for the stated reasons.

Young man needs to grow up, period! Some in Herdnation has been sold a bag of goods. Sometimes you need to be exposed, so that you can grow. In my opinion, in which I have a right to express. It appears to be double standards in our football program.
