No it wasntHell its Trumps damn mouth that got berghdal off.
the judge in the case specifically said trump's comments had no bearingHell its Trumps damn mouth that got berghdal off.
He actually said he would take them into consideration during sentencingthe judge in the case specifically said trump's comments had no bearing
Then that is that damn officers(judges fault). That is what happens when these ******* officers become political in the military instead of doing the f'ing job. Be a damn officer and do your job.He actually said he would take them into consideration during sentencing
then he's saying multiple things because he was quoted saying he wouldn't have any issues being impartial. He actually said he would take them into consideration during sentencing
I think he received punishment plenty
Typical Americans, we focus on the trivial instead of the real question: just WTF is our military and foreign policy doing in the first place?
Because he deserted. Because men died looking for him and others were wounded and have life altering issues.I think he received punishment plenty while in captivity. What a dumbass. Crazy, too.
Anyway, why should any of us really give a fvck? It's not like we can vote a military judge out of office. Typical Americans, we focus on the trivial instead of the real question: just WTF is our military and foreign policy doing in the first place?

apply the murder-felony principal to berghdal. bastard deserted his post and as a result, several good men are now dead or crippled as a direct result of having to go search for him. for he and his piece of shit attorney to claim victim status while thanking decent men for receiving "heroically sustained injuries" is insultingI think he received punishment plenty while in captivity. What a dumbass. Crazy, too.

do you have any family members in the military? i do. just because you can vote on something doesn't mean that's the only reason for outrage.Actually, that's a defense lawyer doing his job.
So I'll ask you the question you quoted but did not answer: why should we really give a fvck? There's nothing any of you can do about it. I'm all for getting pissed off if you can vote against someone or something, but no one can on this.

yeah, they don't seem have that attitude. in fact, in a few group chats with mostly military and they also seem to be outraged. i can vote, and obama gave away five terrorists for this piece of shit, so i guess i get to be outragedThen I am sure your family members can tell you this is a case of "tough shit". You want to be outraged? Be outraged that the Army took someone the Coast Guard kicked out for being crazy. Took him in 2008, right when the Army was flushing their standards down the shitter to meet recruiting demand for our very overstretched forces...overstretched because of a dumb war in Iraq that also dulled interest in enlistment. There's a lot more going on here than meets the eye, as I alluded to in the post #22.
He still walked off, regardless. Then I am sure your family members can tell you this is a case of "tough shit". You want to be outraged? i didn't vote for trump (as God as my witness, i didnt) but nice try. wrong about who gets to be outraged and wrong in your assumption of who i voted forIt was a fair swap. That was five more drone targets.
Yes, you can vote. So I guess vote against Trump for this outrage?
Shit, who I am kidding. You will be right in line to vote for him again.

You wold be surprised the number of parents that make comments these days about their kids joining. Not a lot of glamour in being in the Army or Marines for a lot of folks these days. And, the "no way I would want my kid to do that" attitude. Ok for your kid, but not mine attitude.Well then be outraged at something you can't change. I'll admit I am sympathetic to him, not because he walked off but because the Army set him up for failure by accepting him in the first place. And that's on the Army, and the politics that put the Army in that position. The "smart Army" is a thing, we can't be the biggest but we better be the best.
It's been that way for a long time. The military dealt with the same public opinions after Vietnam. No surprise at all.You wold be surprised the number of parents that make comments these days about their kids joining.
