And the reason that was so open is because we throw to the outside so often. You only throw to the middle field when the defense allows it. You have to take what the defense gives you. I feel like we did that well today and we opened up the middle of the field

Absolutely, Celt. Correct answer to original post is "NOT ENOUGH"! It is not just take what the defense gives you. Other teams scout us and see Legg's tendency to have vast majority of our passes to the outside, sideline area. 2-3 receivers running essentially down the sidelines, although at different vertical depths. Last night, we threw to Yurachek on a 3 yard pass for a td and another pass for a short gain across the middle that was low and he had to go to the ground to catch it. Would like us to use more of the field more often and hopefully this will come as Chase gets more experience and gets more comfortable with all the receivers and they with him. Hopefully, the one long beautiful seam pass that went for a td (to Reaves) will become more commonplace.
