Anyone have a link to the post game comments? We’re there any?

In Doc's defense he's not asked real questions so doesn't have to give real answers. I thought Martin was going to cry with Doc in the post game. He's protected in his bubble while the fan base questions how this embarrassment happened.

Correct. Now we only have one beat writer and no way he will ever ask a tough question. He would be banished from press row like Landon was for a few years.

Well there’s no doubt, I tell the guys every week somebody loses every week that wasn’t supposed to, so we gotta be prepared and do our jobs. The team that takes care of the ball and makes plays has a good chance of winning every game.

or

We gotta get that fixed.

Landon was banished for reporting a fake injury (Devon Johnson), not because of anything he said about anyone else.

If I recall correctly, Landon was reporting that the nature of his injury had been hidden, that it involved his neck when it had previously been said to be his ankles/shins/lower legs, and that the coaching staff shouldn't have put him on the field due to risk of permanent injury.

Of course in further evidence that there is absolutely nothing to see here, the article itself appears to have been scrubbed from the internet, so I can't say for sure.

That’s the way I recall it as well. That Landon was disclosing the true nature of the injury that had been hidden. Now the merits of that will be debated, I imagine. But I do not recall him simply making up a “fake” injury.

Let me revise what I said.....(mind you, I don't remember the specifics either).

I know for a fact that they were upset with him for wrongfully reporting the injury. Now, in what way it played out, I don't remember off hand, but I can most certainly tell you that's where his blackballing stemmed from.

I'm sure I could make a phone call and find out, but I'm not going to bother them with something that happened five years ago.

...and said phone call would result in the gods honest truth because why would they lie about a now dead player. Seems as if Landon was spot on and was blackballed for not playing along.

Blazing hot take here.
