If I were a senator it would not affect my vote. No matter which party I belonged to. If I were a Dem, it's not like he gets knocked out and Trump then appoints a liberal. Hell, I think he is fairly moderate out of the other choices on the short list. And frankly I do not think the Dems will take back the Senate, the delay game is pointless, so fvck it.

The only option if I were a Dem senator for a no is to just flip the bird to Trump. While that is par for the course today, that is not how I think it should work. I do get casting a no vote as revenge for the Garland bullshit, frankly history will not kindly remember McConnell and the GOP for that.
