I’ve given him the benefit of the doubt all year, we’ve scored well at times, have a lack of weapons outside of Ali. But this game was pathetic.

It was clear in the 2nd half that ULL had adjusted and weren’t going to let Ali beat them. What do we do? Kept forcing it to him in critical short yardage situations. Never threw it to him out of the backfield. (Not talking screen attempts) We ran no genuine play action when the running game was having success.

ULl got tired of getting stuffed and started going down field and took the game away from us.

Grant couldn’t connect on anything downfield. But look at the difference in the targets he had to throw to, receivers getting bodied and knocked around. Can’t get open. Vs how much separation the Cajun receivers had on those deep balls. That’s equal parts lack of receiver talent and scheme.

Im on the Huff train. I’ve been the conductor most of the season. I even understood the decision to carry Cramsey over from the last staff with a young qb. But if he retains Cramsey, I’m going to being to seriously question his judgement.

Cramsey coached scared after Grant's interception. And he went super wuss after the dirty hit on Willie.

We can debate Wells, but it doesn't matter. I don't care if you have Tom Brady or Grant Wells. This was a bowl game. This was the final game of the season. You go down swinging.

Tim Cramsey is terrible. You have a talent like Xavier Gaines at TE and you hardly ever use him.

It doesn't matter who the QB is. His scheme SUCKS!

If he’s bad you bench him, but never throwing to a tight end isn’t because your TEs are bad...

he have depth at TE but who would really know that... when you need yards to chew up clock and get first downs TE are the best weapon if the run is gone..

oh what this makes to much sense...

Gaines talent was quitting in patterns, and not being a team player. He showed occasional signs of “talent” but his inconsistency made him unreliable as a real threat.
I mean I don't disagree with you, but I think a lot of that has to do with him never being used. I do think that Gaines does pout, but I don't think Cramsey does a good job getting his players involved. Forget Gaines. Morrell has proved to be a pretty decent weapon at TE. Especially around the goal line, but you hardly ever hear his name either.

He's a horrible OC. We do the same crap over and over. It's either a deep shot or it's a screen or swing and he doesn't even try to mix it up. Ali is feeling it and the series after one of his TDs we throws the ball 4-5 straight times never calling a run. As bad as Wells is, it's far too easy to know what's coming.

I had a friend that used to debate this with me until he sat in the endzone at an away game. He texted me, "you're right. They're players are calling out every one of our plays!"

When everyone at home, in the stadium, and on the field knows what's coming it usually doesn't end well.

I don't care who the players are. If Cramsey is still the one calling the plays we're not going to be any better. He has got to go.
