I've stated here numerous times what field I work in. Guessing and remembering something that never happened are two different things. One is a guess, the other is a sign of dementia or insanity. Are you posting these messages from an institution? I always figured a broom or shovel were needed to scoop up the bullshit on this board, but now it looks like they may be needed to clean up your actual feces.

Maybe you live in a holler, or Detroit, but there are very nice rentals here. Fancy shit. Why would I buy another home now, at my age and not married, when I am thinking about moving across the country as soon as my kiddo finishes undergrad? The same money I pay in rent I would dump into a home renovating it the way I would want it, repairs, maintenance, taxes, etc. and have no guarantee of recovering my investment in this short of a term if the market sours. Early this year I looked at houses just for shits and giggles, I found ONE I liked that I wouldn't blow money on renovating, and I hated the location (not quite yet gentrified is a polite way of describing it). On the flip side, I've bought (and sold) land over the years. I can hold the land I own and do nothing and just wait for the right time and offer....and keep getting paid for my gas in WV, too. Or I'll never sell and ya'll can blow my ashes out of a fvcking howitzer over some of my land when I die, which would be awesome. Tell Michigan and WV-FAN to bring the booze if they outlast me.

Speaking of booze, if you want a good, affordable bourbon, you need to pick up some Old Grand Dad Bonded. Bonded is the key word here. It's damn good neat, and holds up in any cocktail you make. It's like $22 here, but everything here is cheap. If they carry this up there in the hills, go get some.
