I normally dont say much but that was the dumbest call ever. Fight you butt off to get back in game and with no chance to win throw the ball instead of punt. We deserve that I guess

Not sure if serious^^^

Did you lose a bet.
No but after fighting our butt off to make a game out of it it stinks we allow 13 points in the last minute of the game.I know it doesn't matter but I still don't like it

I understand but a punt would have sent a bad message right thru the team.

i agree we should have gone for it, but the message was sent to the team in the 1st quarter when we punted on 4th and 1 inside the 50...

Or when we called it up with a minute to go before half and all our timeouts.

Imagine if we had gotten a FG on the board.

That's why the onside kick was surprising to me. We were way too conservative in the first half almost laying down instead of giving the team a chance to win then Doc calls the onside kick and we get get more aggressive in the 2nd half. It just made no sense. If we had played the first half like we did the second half, we would have won.

like i said before, when you play garbage teams 99% of the time you have to treat games like this as your super bowl. throw all caution to the wind...

even if we win out we will not play a team as good as Pitt and certainly not Louisville in a bowl game. so why not go at these games accordingly. go down swinging.

No matter the final score, I think I read somewhere that a LOSS is still a LOSS.
At least we gave our guys a chance to play in the second half. They deserve aggressive play-calling. They play their hearts out for Marshall and we have the dumbest, most conservative offensive play-calling in the history of college football.
I really do feel compassion for these fine young men trying so hard to win football games for my beloved Herd. Trying to win in the face of obvious bad coaching as every week the announcers question what we are doing. Goes against all good sense.

Well, I had a parlay bet on game with us covering 17 and game over 63. Would have much rather seen us score that last TD.
