Have been looking at this, whether to stay right in Greenville, or go down by the water/river area to the more tourist areas. We'll be driving down from NKY on Friday, can't make it in time for the game otherwise; note (pretty sure this is correct) the game is a 4 PM kick off. Tickets purchased, and they were a bit expensive coming through the MU ticket office.
There are a group of reasonable hotels in Wilson, about a 40 minute drive from Greenville right off of I-95 & the intersection of Hwy 64. We just stayed at the Comfort Suites last weekend for $110 per night. Might be worth checking into……
Driving over from Covington, KY so I’ll have to do the same. I just remember the drive from Cary after the soccer game being out of the way.
I live in "Little" Washington, about 20 minutes east of Greenville. 264 is a straight shot into Greenville. Nice place to stay with a fun downtown area right on the water. We have a number of dining options, a brewery, Gin Distillery, and Bourbon/cigar bar. As far as hotels go, the only places I would recommend are the Hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn (average in my opinion). There are also a couple small hotels/Airbnb's right downtown (Ford Hotel). There may be more places along the river just outside of the downtown area. I would stay away from anything directly on Hgwy 17. Let me know if you have any questions.
Any hookers down that way or should I stop in Durham first?
