2. Please find any claims to the effect that there would be no internet. The claims were about throttling and differentiation....and that is still a distinct possibility, and in fact looks to be happening.

We took the Iranian money from another govt regime not the one currently in power, who we are enemies with. Why would we give them weapons or return money that’s not theirs

That was IRAN's money! We owed them the money. Had we not paid what we did, we would have been on the hook for billions more after the court in The Hague ruled against us on it. By paying the money we owed, along with some of the interest, we ended up not only doing the right thing ethically, but we also saved ourselves billions of dollars.
This isn't even debatable. Really, what is your reason for thinking Obama just sent them billions? Honestly, give me logical reasons why he would have done that just for the hell of it.

Brilliant. So we'd go around preaching to abide by decisions of the United Nations. We'd support the United Nations with money and soldiers. We'd insist every other country abides by U.N. rulings, but we'd by the world's biggest hypocrite and do exactly the opposite of what we insist every other country does.

Nobody else was smart enough to realize that 1) The Hague would rule against us costing us billions more 2) Paying now not only saved tax payers money, but it also allowed the U.S. (and Russia, Germany, Britain, etc.) to force them into agreeing to the uranium/nukes deal, which they strictly followed under Obama's tenure. Of course, then cheeto pulled out of the Iran missile agreement, and they are back to fvcking around again with missiles.
Amazing how that just happens to be one huge coincidence, huh?
And you think the U.N. court would give a shit about that? We were going to lose and lose by billions more. It also wouldn't have given us the opportunity to strongarm them into the uranium restrictions.
This really isn't something debatable. We would have ended up having to give them billions more and not been able to check the uranium situation.
