Exchange between Carmichael and Prezioso

I love it. I love seeing old WV Democrats pouting because they don't have power after 100 years.

You bastards are largely responsible for ruining the state and watching two generations of your people take the hillbilly highway.

Sit on a pickle and spin.

Really? That's what you got out of that?

Absolutely. The gentleman from Marion County wanted a show. They would have done the same thing if they were in power.

Why did we recall the bill? Because we can.

Petty Mitch better start checking under the covers before going to bed
;-))).
Quite a battle between him and the vice don of the Marion County syndicate.

You keep reverting to the past. The Republicans control the governor’s seat right now. The Republicans control both the House of Delegates and the State Senate right now. This is a shit show right now. We’re not talking about the last 100 years. Instead of fixing WV problems, this legislature is actually discussing topics like forced pooling and a US Constitutional Convention.

Maybe they are trying to fix the problem and perform their job diligently instead of caving to out of control emotional mob. The Senate side of a legislative body should act slowly and deliberately.

No one should be acting slow and deliberately for these kids sake.

For the kids sake, maybe someone should have acted with a little more foresight many years ago. Maybe they shouldn't have followed and bowed down to obummer and his policies that killed the states economy.............and just maybe, for the kids sake, we wouldn't be facing these difficult times we are today.......Kick the Can

Anybody calling HFF-SLTX an idiot is hilarious. He probably has the most real world success of anybody on this board by a mile.

That's the same as saying cheetos is more intelligent than the vast majority of people. Bwah ha ha

What's the problem with that? moron
You ran a business what would you do if your employees would have walked out?

What's wrong with the legislature taking their time? Do legislative bodies typically move fast?

And, there is a reason kids in WV didn't go to school today.

LOL. In my opinion, he is the biggest idiot on this board...followed close behind by WVFAN, 1988 and Iamherdman....and then probably you.

They didn't.

They can take all the time they want. Just don't blame the delay on teachers.

And, there is a reason kids in WV didn't go to school today.

Correct. It's because they haven't been given what they were promised.

Yes. It's legal.
so clarify,

Steven Paine, West Virginia superintendent of schools, in a statement ahead of the strike said he fully recognizes and supports the work of teachers and that they “deserve more,” but “the economic realities of our state may not allow everything teachers deserve to take place immediately.” He also pointed out that work stoppages by public employees are “not lawful” in West Virginia. State Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said the strike was “illegal.

Morrisey is a dumb ass!

"I know of nothing that says a teacher who strikes commits a crime," said West Virginia University law professor Bob Bastress. "Participating in a strike would be no different from a teacher who feigns illness to get a day off. The conduct could expose the teacher to discipline."

Howard Seufer Jr., an attorney in Charleston, agreed. "Strikes by public employees are not crimes in our state," he said. "But public employees do not enjoy a right under our laws to strike."

Ok, so they could be fired and the teacher's union fined?

Thanks country. I know nothing about you. But the fact that you group us as "idiots" is similar to Lloyd Christmas calling Sheldon, Leonard, Raj and Co. "Stupid". But hey, keep trying if it makes you feel better. In case that goes over your head Lloyd = Country in that comparison.
