This whole thing is stupid. 325+ million people in this country. Approximately 32 sick potentially tied to eating lettuce in a 2 month period. Yeah. Real public health crisis. I doubt these numbers are any higher than those that get sick from food poisoning from eating chicken, pork, or anything else in a similar timeframe.

I get your point, but you can’t compare 32 sick to the entire US population unless a 325 million ate romaine lettuce.

That's retarded and has nothing to do with the subject of fake news. If she was just trying to be funny, didn't really hit the mark.

you have to remember....the ones finding it funny enjoy being spoonfed fake news and selective coverage.

Two things:

1. With regard to the OP, the lady's "joke" has a flawed premise. Isn't this really about statements put out by a governmental agency as opposed to a news issue? Because of this, it's not even remotely funny - just ignorance on display.

2. Concerning "fake news." Whether you agree with Trump or not, does anyone here think that the major networks and newspapers in this country actually stick to reporting the objective facts and leave the ultimate opinions or conclusions to the general public? Anyone? Because if you do, you're either being intellectually dishonest, or you're a moron.

yep considering the MSM gives Trump 90% negative coverage they deserve that label. Good Lord, he may deserve some of it, but it is hard to find anything outside of Fox that is positive about him.
