In-N-Out Burger took the recent minimum wage increase in stride in California, as did other similar restaurants. The C-suite will only earn low seven-figures this year instead of an extra $200k each while allowing all full-time workers to have closer to a living wage.

If only we listened to those Republican policies in economically-advantaged states like Mississippi, Alabama, West Virginia, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, and Oklahoma. Christ, why are so many of the shithole states red?

Considering the size of this organization, exactly how many C-suite members are there?

Because a quick search states there's 27K employees and you know the majority of that number are the front line staff.

Somebody's cooking the financials, not burgers.

That's great theoretically, but in practicality, it fails. It means even more crime, homelessn and shittiness for what is already a shithole state.

They could work cleaning litter on the highways or other unskilled labor for the government/taxpayers. They can earn and learn, instead of giving something for nothing.

Homelessness, shittiness, crime, sanctuary for illegal foreign nationals, businesses leaving and the one state leading the nation in population decrease, the shithole state of California.

What part of this is too difficult for you to understand? Of those who are career welfare recipients/mooches, there will always be a percentage that never will do anything. We could tell them that they have to walk around the block three times per day in order to keep their benefits, and they still wouldn't.

Knowing there is always a pretty decent sized percentage of welfare recipients who simply won't do what is needed, what is your plan for them after they lose their benefits? Those are the people who, many times, resort to crime and homelessness.

If you come back with an idea to give them other jobs, regardless of how menial, you need to read this post again.

It's a fact, you will eat your own shit, in an attempt to keep from starving to death.

They'll turn to crime? They may be shot and killed or they can do the time and be forced to work in prison.

Stop being a puss about it.

God tells us: "If a man will not work, he shall not eat."

Face it. Lazy begets lazy and Democrats promote it.

So your plan is to let those people - which there will be a lot of, especially in a place like West Virginia - not eat because your god says that?

Brilliant.

Again, you then face a number who will be forced to resort to crime and/or live on the street.

Crime and live on the streets? They aren't being forced to, it's their choice. Why do you keep saying forced? There are free places to stay at night and they can look for jobs during the day. Living on the street, going hungry or turning to crime is a CHOICE.
