Sold to an outfit called ARC, owners of "Dick's Wings and Grill", a north Florida/south Georgia place that looks similar to Fat Patty's without the sports theme; and "Tilted Kilt", which is like Hooter's only more so, used to be one in the 'Hole, went broke.

Hopefully the Marshall theme remains, at least at the current locations.

The place where Tilted Kilt was located in Morgantown is what was their undoing. Too hard to get in and out of there with all the traffic, and the food wasn't good enough to justify all the traffic problems. But the eye candy was nice while it lasted. I don't look for any business to last long in that location, including Roosters, the current occupant.

HD online report says all 4 FP locations will remain the same and that Artrip will remain on to oversee them.

I would have enjoyed the Tilted Kilt!

To quote Two Dollar Danny Jones-
“ you can never work at a restaurant that you owned”.

The new ownership will have him out within twenty four months. I imagine the former owner has his next venture ready to launch.

...and $12.3 million to play with (I’m sure he won’t net that amount but a nice payday nonetheless).

I'll tell you what: If Fat's would have used fresh ground beef instead of frozen, it would have been the perfect burger joint.
True. In fact, they use the same burger patties from the same supplier that Connie used at Mac Reedo's

Their food is fine but the burgers aren't the best I have eaten in the area. Oscars is darn good.

Hopefully they replace all of the frozen garbage with fresh food. The only things worth eating at Fat Patty's are the pretzels, salads and wings.

It will continue to be managed by the former owner and he has said that sadly, absolutely nothing will change.
As for the burgers, I don't eat them anywhere nor do I eat fried foods. So, I'm pretty much a salad eater when I/m there for the Danny D'Aantoni call in show.

That works well for you then. The salads are good. Hard to make a salad from the freezer.

It usually "Codzilla, the Reuben, or the sirloin steak (which is damned good) when I go. I find any one of those three delicious!

Fresh burger would be awesome. It's what separates this franchise from ones you see in bigger cities. Fresh burgers.

Yes hopefully. FP’s is one of our favorites when we all make it into town. Congrats to the owners on making some serious bank!
