Does this mean that another Herd conference game bites the dust? Wonder if the NCAA or bowl czars will amend the rules regarding the number of wins necessary to qualify for a bowl? Way games are dropping like flies MU may end the season with something like a 3-1 or 4-0 record!!
That could actually be a possibility.Depending on how we fare Saturday? We might just get on some potential school’s radar.
God this year feels like it shouldn't count.
That could actually be a possibility.
Big 10 is voting on playing tonight/tomorrow, which if approved, will certainly open up, hopefully, some possibilities.
I can see it now...MU runs the table and wins CUSA...
Is there no appreciative yet realistic third group in this scenario?I'd rather be in the naysayers group putting a lid on the braggadocio than in the UCF camp of claiming a national championship based on our impressive victories over West and East Kentucky.
I thought having a measured, reasonable reaction to that possibility was the appreciative yet realistic group. Is there no appreciative yet realistic third group in this scenario?
Wishful thinking...lol.It's not happening... The Big10 will only be playing conference games from Oct. 24-Dec. 13. There will be no non-conference games. Its an 8 game schedule with every team playing on "Championship Saturday" Dec. 13 based on where the finish in the "regular season" 7-game standings.
Fair enough but I highly doubt Marshall or it’s fans would ever go the UCF route, abbreviated schedule or notI thought having a measured, reasonable reaction to that possibility was the appreciative yet realistic group.
Probably the group saying we need to go to The Sun Belt...Is there no appreciative yet realistic third group in this scenario?
No. It means that FAU is going to have a difficult time keeping their team in order.
Give your responses to how MU has been doing with COVID and schedule impact, you should (as should everyone else) know its not just limited to MU.
waaay over my head cottrell75!!
GHMY, sorry but this is a MARSHALL board. I, like others, am mainly concerned with how MU deals with events, how MU's schedule is impacted, etc., etc. If you are that concerned with other schools per se, feel free to go elsewhere!

Well, UNCC just cancelled their game vs. UNC...so it DOES matter to Marshall.
Just trying to help you do a little more thinking for yourself which is currently 1 or 2 steps above a toddler's.
FYI, NimRod, our opponent this week is Appy. Mike Hamrick and Appy's AD are already addressing the UNCC COVID "outbreak" issue, testing of ASU's players, contact tracing, etc. Worry about UNCC if and when we play them at the end of November. ASU apparently tested the team for the second time on Tuesday and the third testing was today. Absent a number of "positives" on the third round of testing, the game Saturday should be a "go"!
Kids! If I have to come back there.....you 2 should just create your own msg board. Meantime the Tar Heels need an opponent next weekend. I wouldn’t mind getting another shot at those cheaters!!! Go Herd!
Should be, you do realize a single outbreak of this can sideline an entire team you dolt.
But I guess toddlers and old people like yourself disregard big words like "science."
