They have not been given whistle blower protection status. 2 of the 3 received financial backing from orange Jesus advisor kash Patel. 1 "espoused an alternative narrative about the events at the U.S. Capitol” and downloading documents to “an unauthorized removable flash drive", and espousing conspiracy theories about the Capitol riot, including that undercover federal agents had been responsible for the attack.
