Fellow Herd fan needs help

My Aunt has been fighting cancer (lymphoma) for several years, this round of chemo has severely weakened her and the cancer has not responded to it. (She scheduled treatments so she could still attend as many games during the past couple football seasons, as possible) The doctors have given her a 2 month estimate to live, my family has taken on paying for hospice care and the pile of medical debt, my cousins (her children) only are looking for help with her rent/utilities . Last year when she was doing better we made arrangements to go to Boise, really going to be tough making the trek without her.

One thing you may want to look into in the context of the soon to be estate facing voluminous medical bills, is to take most of the money you receive from this fundraising .... and purchase an irrevocable preneed funeral plan. You may want to reach out to an attorney (pro bono) to confirm. Been there before. :/

There have been five donations since the original post, at least two of which were from people on this board. And the purpose of the money has changed.
