I heard some black guys talking and they don't consider guys from Jamaica to be real brothers.

Is that true?
 
Ha, what's funny is hip hop is based out of reggae music. They can believe what they want but I'll tell you this a lot of Jamaicans and West Indians in general view black Americans as lazy, entitled, no values having people.
 
Related to the original post....

The most "racist" people I've ever worked with in medicine were the two doctors I knew that grew up in Africa (one was from Senegal, can't recall the other guy).

As an intern I was back in the dictation nook dictating right beside this other African doctor (he was an attending hospitalist). He was having a rough night and a crazy black lady drug seeker was trolling his service and back in the ER again. He pulls the phone to the side, looks at me and says: "what the f*ck is wrong with your black people here?"

I asked him to clarify later...he said "here" to mean America. Not in the ER that night.
