Finau latest victim of celebration injury

Those things will happen when non-athletes slowly run backwards for four steps.

Anyone who has dislocated a shoulder knows it can be very painful, but once it is popped back into place, the pain greatly subsides. Sure, the swelling will give you some discomfort, but you usually can go back to whatever athletic activity (basketball, dart throwing, checkers) you were doing before without a huge issue.

Not sure if you saw the Master's par 3 contest where Tony Finau celebrates his hole in one and turns his ankle. Here's the link to the video. No clue how he played on that ankle this week...

Dislocated mine three weeks ago while jogging on the beach. Looked just like his purple and black and about the size of my thigh but I was able to use it well enough. If I was in playing in the masters I would find a way to make it through too. Don’t be a pussy in life.

I've dislocated my ankle a few times in my life. Every time it was coming down on someone's foot playing basketball. To this day I struggle to watch these kind of injuries. When they show replays I literally close my eyes. That being said, I'd play on a bloody stump if it were the Masters.

The way he went about it, i doubt it was the first time this has happened to him.
