Queens is a bible college of 2K enrollment which most here had NEVER HEARD OF before the announcement of the schedule, which plays in a gym and which was D2 LAST YEAR.

One could certainly suggest that it's because of fans like Perkins that's the prime reason why the athletic teams are in a fast, out of control, downward spiral. The team 'up north' was discussed earlier, and they are lock step in not accepting mediocre football results. You won't find one attempting to dress up a sloth over on their forums. We need fans that expect more. The funerals ended over 50 years ago. It's no longer about simply being happy they're fielding a team. It's time to stop giving mediocre efforts a free reach-around.

The basketball program is nothing more than a token effort, and the football program seems to be quickly following suit.

You do understand, of course, that when a private school for rich kids gives a scholarship, they count that as “spending”. No D2 school, especially one w/o football, spends anything near $19M on athletics.

But the fact that you consider MU to be on par with some fifth rate imitation of Davidson which is a fifth rate imitation of Duke, says a lot about why you are so out of touch.
