The weather is cooling down, and football is back at all levels. I’m officiating a middle school game tonight and some midget league games this weekend. My youngest son starts his senior season next Friday and just had a scrimmage this past Monday against a 12 time 5A state championship team in Summerville. Has a scrimmage tomorrow night and regular season starts next Friday. His second opponent has 140 boys out for football...so glad to see that the Rona isn’t scaring kids away. He’s #17 in this clip if any of you guys would want to watch it...just pictures to music, but it fires me up. Can’t see his number well in some pictures, but at the 1:39 mark that’s him after laying a kid out. He’s 6’1 and 200, but looks skinny.
