So did I read that Foster will be getting reps with the running backs on Saturday or was I just dreaming that? I haven't heard anything about it except on Twitter.

I think it's a great idea. Hyleck played in the backfield in HS. He's the type of player that you want to get the ball to anyway you can. I'm sort of surprised we haven't seen any jet sweeps or anything to get him the ball like that. Looking forward to this week's game.
Pittman and Davis are both Thunder type guys. Foster gives the offense a Lightning option.
I remember we did some sweeps with him last year and made me wonder the same thing about why we havent done it this year. I am very happy that they are moving guys around though and trying to figure out how to get all of our playmakers on the field at the same time. It seems imo just based more on this move they are trying to figure out what does and doesnt work with some of our guys. I think maybe stepping back and seeing all of the underclassmen being used i have a little better outlook for our team because i as many i think have had unrealistic expectations for us to come out firing on all cylinders. That may be because i was somewhat spoiled with how things have been the past couple of years and because the media made it seem we werent going to skip a beat but when you lose so many key players at key positions and then fill those holes with somewhat inexperienced underclassmen you are bound to have some bumps. I think this move will be Huge for us by getting a fast back to compliment the power runners we have plus Foster is always dangerous when he has the ball anyways. Excited to see him back there this weekend.
Cause that's what we need is Jet Sweeps....we have an OL that is still working and hurt. jet sweeps I'm not a fan of seem a little predictable .however putting guys in motion I'm all for. Make the defenses work a little bit more . Please I think we had enough of the jet sweeps and bubble screens from the synder era . Rather Doc come up with some shovel passes and trick plays like Boise than Jet screens that will get blown up . jMHO
Not a bunch just one here or there but i more or less was curious why we did it with some success last year and didnt try it this year while he was in the slot. Since he is back at rb though i am not so sure but i do know we need to do something besides running up the gut. I think part of the problem with some run plays is that it isnt always designated as a run play but a read to either hand off or pull it and throw so the line doesnt get a good push forward bc they have to pass block if he pulls it. Idk exactly but we have had a few plays get blown up this year. Like i said earlier though i am excited to see how things work out considering litton now has a home and away game under his belt. The receivers should be more comfortable with his throws now. Our rb have a full week with the 1s since dj is not playing and we have a fast back to go with the power running.
When you have talent like Foster you need to find creative ways to get them the ball. Running a sweep every now and then isn't going to hurt. We're not talking about a massive amount of sweeps here pal. And I'm not sure you've noticed but we still run a sh*t ton of screens. Our playbook is seriously lacking depth.
