Another embarrassment for that school and they have had a long list of them.
What an arrogant ass. And we have fans that still want to play these clowns? Screw them!
anyone with a set of balls should want to play under proper terms.....the larger problem is just like the title reads...."fans of both schools". Herd folks need to pick a side and get off of that bandwagon altogether. Myself, I've always hated them and would not pull for them even if we disbanded all sports.

Earlier in the year, I started a thread about Gee's unacceptable behavior and how it had led to his dismissal from Ohio State. Looks like he is at it again.
It is not surprising that this behavior is acceptable at the Morgantown school. Besides Gee, they have had a past football coach with family problems, and they still employ a basketball coach who was fired from a previous coaching job because of alcohol abuse. Cant't get hired anyplace else? You know where to go.
I'm sure if Paul Manafort ever gets out of prison, the job of Financial Director awaits him in Morgantown.

I was about to say Gee's past at ohio state should have been a warning to anyone wanting to hire him that his words get him into trouble.
Besides spending like $60,000 a year on bowties and questionable luxuries, his words towards anyone NOT named wvu are condescending as usual.
It'd be great if wvu got left out of a major conference change and Gee's words were what cost them.
He also said wvu has a $4 billion budget? Where?

Couple of things
I don't see anyone hung up (fans or administration) that need to move on. I've also not seen any Herd fan anywhere on their proverbial nutsack, unless we are talking about the fans of both schools which is addressed.
"never play on proper terms" - The neutral court basketball series that went on for years and years is more than fair for a " mid major" vs a Big East or Big 12 team.
There are no "fair" or proper term offers to play in either major sport from them or us. That is why we aren't playing no one is clamoring for a game with them.
No one on either side cares that much if we play or don't in the other sports. Stopping playing them in everything means nothing to them or us.
I wouldn't bother getting too outraged about this. Based on my experience of dealing with WVU people, the only result of this incident will be that now WVU folks will say their budget is $4.5 billion, and ours is $250 million, and they'll repeat it like gospel ad nauseam, for all time.
