Is anyone paying attention to what's going on in the Gaza Strip? They are shutting down communication so that people can't talk about the Gaza Strip. They enforce laws on the citizens, but if the citizens ask how those laws pertain to the political leaders, the citizens are silenced and sometimes disappear. As history has shown, poor leadership that turns into oppression is usually followed by a destructive uprising.

The first rule of the Gaza Strip is that you don't talk about the Gaza Strip!

Sounds like a place most should consider leaving, particularly those residents with a long history of being there. Hope they protect themselves from getting stabbed in the back by an unruly leader.

It's happened before. Based on the crushing censorship exhibited in Gaza and the lack of open dialogue allowed by those in power, it appears that history will repeat itself. There was another recent thread about the Gaza Strip that I thought Herdman started, but I must have been dreaming about it.

I know. They are a great nation of people. I can remember in the 80s when Israel was bombing the crap out of lebanon when the arabs had flooded into there. You ever read jimmy carters book on tge gaza strip?

I think it's necessary to note that throughout history the attempt to disrupt the process of a nation through anarchy can be both calculated and carried out by individuals who operate not through the devices of war but in a subversive manner. Usually those attempts have been unsuccessful and once identified and weeded out the attempted disruption fades because an awareness to the ulterior motives of these subversives become evident.

And Sisters...ain't no one talking about Israel.

Strangely, physical threats (both virtual and in person) are still allowed. A poster physically assaulted Ducky at a basketball game years ago which started on the boards. A former owner/current moderator tried starting a fight with another person at halftime of another Marshall event. Numerous people, including two regular posters, have threatened me multiple times each with physical threats.

Those things are still allowed and have never been addressed. But, don't you dare ask a question if moderators are under the same rules as regular posters when it comes to personal information.

It was pregame, not halftime.

You . . . I mean, Banker . . . was drunk and belligerent starting fights with people, so he thought halftime was pregame. Banker just manipulated the story, took it out of context, and outright lied. It's alright though, another poster was told the same recently from the same party.

I don't know how to start a PM. It was Big Ol' Hillbilly. I don't think he is around anymore. According to Ducky's story, Hillbilly confronted him at a game, stood over him, got in his face, and kept challenging him to stand up. Ducky refused repeatedly which made Hillbilly repeatedly kick him in the shins trying to get Ducky to do something. Disgusting.

I think Ducky used to mock Hillbilly about his wife being the bread-winner and Hillbilly mooching off of his wife. It was relentless and funny.

Damn, that's messed up. I remember that guy and when it was discussed on here afterwards. How the hell did he know Walden's identity?

I believe Ducky stated that he was going to the game and where he would be sitting. A high school classmate may have pointed him out or perhaps pictures on here identified him.

LOL, didn't you post a pic of his sister once? Of course that pales in comparison to calling him at work. If I recall, he almost shit his pants after it happened.
