Can we please stop kicking the ball into the fvcking end zone! I have already shown how there is no difference in risk allowing an offense to start at their 30 yard line compared to the 25 yard line. Have you seen what MTSU has done all game by pooching it short? It screws up the timing of the kick return scheme. It leads to a much higher chance of the ball hitting the turf or a dropped catch.
It's a fvcking monsoon! Do you know how hard it is to catch a wet ball that has been flying through the air on a kickoff? More, do you know how hard it is to have to look into the sky when it is pouring rain, have raindrops hit your eyes and cloud your vision, and then try catching a soaking wet ball?
Make them catch the fvcking ball and stop kicking it into the god damn end zone! There's a reason why there have been a ton of fumbles already in this game. It's because it is hard to hold onto a wet ball! Now, instead of just holding onto the ball, try catching a wet ball with rain splashing in your eyes!
