Good article on Riley Locklear:

He has to do what he has to do, but it sure isn't very supportive of MU. He could help us a lot by saving something like "If not Tennessee, then Marshall"; or something like that. Wonder if Doc would take a kid like this back if he ends up sitting at UT and then decides to come home? What do you all think?

I'd say yes, it's not like he verballed to MU and flipped to TENN on signing day.

Nice article. I think his request for 75 says plenty towards his love/respect of Marshall. Even though he went with UT its 100 % his life and right to do so.

I wish him well in knoxvegas.

BTW when we played at UT the Tennessee fans were awesome to party with and they gave us great props post game. Great college football atmosphere and fans.

My feeling exactly on the Tenn. fans...a 1st place tie with the UNC fans the game the lights went off.

Awesome fans that sincerely welcomed us to their stadium.

If his home town means so much why leave? Notice when he says he told other schools of his choice before going public he doesn't mention Marshall. I wasn't emotional about any of the 304 kids. Never have seen any of them play. However, I call bs on this kid.

You want to honor and show love and loyalty to your community, by going to another school?

He's not likely to see the field at Tennessee. Why not go to Marshall, where he would have likely been a starter by year two?

I bet he starts at Tenn. Go back to mohole eeribilly Celt. Don't be an idiot. Young men get to make a their choices. He deserves to make his. Wearing 75 is an honor to Marshall.

Put down the meth pipe. Go away. Eeribilly idiots please leave, your Marshall obsessed idiots.

Thank you for listening.

Isn't his brother or a cousin a redshirt freshman lineman at Marshall? Seem to recall that we had signed someone with the same last name from Spring Valley a year or so ago?

Pretty sure his family has deep Marshall ties. I think his older brother is on the football team and his mother works for the university.
