Just noticed Grant has 2,000 yards so far this year ranking him #4 in the nation. These are big numbers and tells me he has a big upside. Once he works through some of his mistakes he has the potential to be one of the better QB's to ever play here.
WR really have caused 70% of them. He's also #1 in interceptions.
Was watching App @ Cajun fball game. The App QB, Brice, leads the nation…..in interceptions thrown since 2020. 19! I bet GW is in the top 5 there, as well!!Just noticed Grant has 2,000 yards so far this year ranking him #4 in the nation. These are big numbers and tells me he has a big upside. If only YPG was what we judged QB performance on this would be a great stat. Apparently you missed the memo marine all of his ints were from wide receiver mistakes. Chucking balls into triple coverage had nothing to do with it.If only YPG was what we judged QB performance on this would be a great stat. But it’s meaningless when your INT rate is higher than your TD rate
I don't disagree with that Marine, I even said that in the post. However, it doesn't take away from the fact he is putting up some great numbers. Like I said, if he can improve some( watch throwing into double coverage, checking down and not locking onto one guy) and get some help from his receivers we could have a very special guy under center. If only YPG was what we judged QB performance on this would be a great stat. Not at all. He has to be consistent. Just about all of us have said he looks great at times and then at other times he looks like uncle rico. He has to be consistentAll the haters are MIA as per the norm
Is 18 completions in a row consistent enough for you?Not at all. He has to be consistent. Just about all of us have said he looks great at times and then at other times he looks like uncle rico. He has to be consistent
Can he do it over the course of more than one half? Can that continue into the next game? next year? If he keeps looking like this the next game and next few games then yesIs 18 completions in a row consistent enough for you?
I’ve been aggravated enough to call for Zban just to change it up when the O wasn’t doing anything or when Wells was in a slump myself.
Grant has the 2nd half to really boost his confidence, hope he gets two more TD’s in the air

I think we’ve only had 3-4 QB’s in the history of the program that displayed this type of consistency on the throes tonight. When he does this the next 4-5 straight games I’ll reverse my opinion

He’s on the remedial program. Give him time.Nothing will convince you.
