Raoul, is the track over in Clarksville still in operation? You could always count on a good fight in the stands after a crash. I was there one night and saw a chubby little kid, around 8 years old, smack another kid in the head with one of those metal school lunch boxes. Then their moms started going at it.

Yes sir, that is where I was this evening. The racing was pretty clean tonight, only one driver flipped the bird.
Honestly, it is the best entertainment for $12. And cold tallboys are only $3.50.
Used to love Rookie Figure 8 races. Those were the guys who hadn't learned when to back off yet.
When I first moved up there out of college I lived in the Greentree Apartments over behind the Greentree Mall. It was only 5 minutes from that track. It was my cheap entertainment option many an evening. That and going to Redbirds games down at the Fairgrounds. They would have at least one dollar night a month. Dollar admission, dollar beer and dollar dogs with fireworks after.

Those apartments are now Little Mexico.
One of these days they will finally tear down the Fairgrounds stadium. No one is allowed in it, it just stands there, ugly AF.
