Hamrick, Holliday to Host Radio Shows Thursday Evening

Christopher's Eats is the place to be from 6-8 p.m.!

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall Director of Athletics Mike Hamrick and head coach Doc Holliday will kick off the 2015 season with their first radio shows of the season Thursday evening at Christopher's Eats (6005 U.S. Route 60 East) in Barboursville.

"Inside Herd Athletics with Mike Hamrick" will air on ESPN 94.1 FM, AM 930 and 1340 from 6-7 p.m. and will feature Kindred Communications' Mike and Reeves Kirtner, along with Thursday's guest host, Jack Bogaczyk. Bogaczyk is in his fourth year as HerdZone.com's Columnist and editor of the Herd Insider. The show will focus on the business of college athletics and will provide insight to the inner-workings of one of Conference USA's highest-profile programs. Fans are encouraged to call the show at 877-420-TALK (8255) with questions.

The Doc Holliday Radio Show will follow from 7-8 p.m. with Coach Holliday joined by 10-time West Virginia Sportscaster of the Year Steve Cotton. Coach Holliday will give fans an update on the Thundering Herd heading into Sunday's matchup with Purdue and take your questions. Fans also are encouraged to send inquiries via Twitter to @HerdCotton! The show will air on the Thundering Herd IMG Sports Network and the above stations, in addition to 93.7 FM The Dawg.

The Thundering Herd and the Boilermakers will kick off at 3 p.m. Sunday in a contest that will mark the first time a Big Ten opponent has come to Joan C. Edwards Stadium. The game also will be televised on FOX Sports 1 with Justin Kutcher, Petros Papadakis and Steve Hutchinson on the call.
