The American Revolution was a revolution by the people of America. Americans were unhappy so they decided to revolt, which is what a revolution is, it’s when people revolt. Since it was people in America revolting, it became known as the American Revolution.
The important thing though is they did it because they wanted abortions, gay sex and free health care.
