For review sake:
cheeto has a habit of not placing blame on Russia or Russians for the election hacks/influence. Then, yesterday, he continued his usual claim by saying . . .
"I don't see any reason why it would be," referring to Russia meddling in the election. In other words, he is continuing his denial that they were involved. He also said "I accept our intelligence community's conclusion that Russia's meddling in the 2016 election took place." But he then followed that with "It could be other people also. A lot of people out there."
Then, today, after seeing how much of a fool he looked like and how he is being attacked from all sides, he came up with this lie:
"In a key sentence in my remarks I said the word 'would' instead of 'wouldn't.' The sentence should have been: 'I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be Russia.' Sort of a double negative."
Do any of you believe this lie?
