Dublin, Oh
I have been reading a lot of articles online as well as Facebook posts about all of these people are losing healthcare.

But even in the articles that say people will be losing their healthcare with this bill never explain how they are losing it?

So you will no longer be forced to buy healthcare or have healthcare under the penalty of a fine. That is eliminated but I haven’t seen anything about ACA being repealed so they still have their subsidies to help them purchase healthcare, the pre existing conditions clause is still there so they can’t be denied coverage. It seems everything is still there except the govt can’t fine you if you don’t have insurance.

So my question is who are these people losing their insurance? What am I missing?

If you are no longer mandated to have insurance. Some will elect not to buy it.

Losing it is just liberal propaganda. Not wanting it is not losing it because they chose not to have it.

So what happens when a person is in a catastrophic accident and given life saving treatments. By the way the hypothetical person works at Tudors biscuit world warming minimum wage making biscuits, doesn’t have a penny saved and elected not to have insurance. Your pays your bill?

HerdBuckeye did they take the supplement away to purchase insurance? I’m not arguing I’m just asking? Because if they didn’t take away the pre existing condition clause nor the helping people pay for insurance who couldn’t afford it money. How is this bill taking insurance away?

No they did not although trump said it has been repealed. All I am stating is who now pays for it for the population of people that now will not buy it cause they are not required? The answer is you and me.

Do you remember when we were told by the media and leftists that 48million Americans were suffering because they didn’t/couldn’t have health insurance? That the only way they would/could get it was if the Govt/Obummercare insured they received it??

It was a completely fraudulent number based on yet another leftist myth. Your question points to exactly the same politically motivated effort to propagate misinformation that is currently ongoing.

You do realize that at least 28 Million people are already uninsured, don't you? They couldn't afford it under the Obama plan, even though he lied to you and called the plan the 'affordable' care act. Those folks opted to pay the penalty, which is what Trump removed.

Why don't you just stop the phony bullshit, and acknowledge what a hell of a job your President is doing for this country.

That’s what I thought Raleigh. So basically nothing has changed with the exception that you will no longer face a fine if you don’t have insurance.

So the only people who are “losing” insurance are those who choose to no longer purchase it, and they won’t be fined by the govt.

So basically it is the playbook of make up stuff to make the bill look bad and have Democrats run out to their lap dog media friends to spread the misinformation.

Do you want another 28 million? Great plan. I see what the insurance market in Michigan has done due to uninsured and underinsured.

Why do you simply do a drive by, without expanding on your opinion. Do tells us, why are we going to get another 28 Million added to the uninsured? What has the impact on Michigan been?

I'm going to explain this as simple as I possibly can:

Lower personal taxes, as well as drastically lower corporate taxes are going to expand the workforce. It means more people will be able to afford health insurance, it means more people will work for an organization that provides its workforce with health insurance at reasonable rates. Additional workers = more money going into the US Treasury via taxes. More corporations = more money going into the US Treasury. Companies currently investing overseas will invest in America. Wages will be going up, not only due to corprations having more money, but with low unemployment, guys like myself won't be able to simply find folks off the street desperately seeking employment. Assuming you're being honest about your occupation, you should be ecstatic over what this all means to you. The housing market is booming. One has to assume a good guy like yourself is going to share the wealth with your staff, right?

Lastly, don't believe what Pocahontas, Chuck, and Nancy are feeding you. People aren't going to die over reducing your taxes. I promise you. Enjoy the prosperity. I'm almost 58 years old, and this is the strongest the country has been in a very long time, and it's only getting better.

Again, enjoy it while it lasts, because at some point, the liberals will once again be in power. For me, I'm going to be okay when that happens, as I'll be retired, or dead from drinking too much.

Yep go drink another beer.

See that's the problem right there. You can't expand on your thoughts. Your talking points are simply regurgitating what Rachel Maddow tweets out. As for the beer, headed out right now. Going to try out the new Springfield Bistro & Tap House. Their menu indicates they have many delicious beers currently on tap, including several IPA options.

Hopefully it’s a good place where you will be able to continue watching the wolverines get the shit kicked out of them by the Buckeyes for years to come.
