I think they are stupid and this does nothing. There's no difference in them and the blm people taking over a police station and hosting a "die in" or chaining themselves to one another in the middle of an interstate.
Give it time. The will either negotiate or take it back by force. But, it takes time to set up both. The group is just holding brick and mortar now and not hostages nor killed anyone yet. The feds can wait them out a long time and hopefully settle it without blood shed. Either way they will take it back.

And you're the one who attempted to make the militia less bad by stating "They also aren't burning their own neighborhoods either." You attempted to separate the militia from the arsonists, but the militia is protesting on the behalf of those convicted arsonists.
Complete destruction of property requires a different response than a peaceful protest.
Your "peaceful" protest consists of people defying the federal government, making threats of violence, blocking access to federal lands, illegally occupying federal property, and openly carrying guns. In addition, they may be illegally carrying guns into federal buildings. We saw lots of law enforcement in the streets during those riots you mention, so why don't we see them when this militia breaks the law?
first of all I'm in no way supporting these nut jobs. Secondly open carry is legal in Oregon third the protests in ferguson and Baltimore posed a direct threat to the public. These guys are literally in the middle of nowhere I fully expect the Feds to go in hot and take care of this but to compare the riots looting and burning to this situation is asinine
I'm aware that open carry is legal in Oregon, but it is no coincidence that many of these "protesters" are armed with guns. It's an overt act of intimidation. Like I said, it may be illegal to carry guns into those federal buildings they are occupying. It's irrelevant that the area is not heavily populated. Yes, it's asinine to compare the riots and this situation, which is exactly what you've done.
You are right and he reason bei is that fever once again was trying to insinuate some form of racist dog whistle with how this situation has so far been handled. If Fever was insinuating that this case is treated differently because the militia is white, I would tend to agree with him. If this militia was black or arab, I believe this incident would be handled differently.
Good enough joke and I caught it. I just couldn't figure out why a permit was needed to be mineless. None of us on here have one.
First of all these idiots are in a deserted/remote federal visitors center. Right now they can't really harm much other than themselves. They are not looting or destroying cities or major cities and others business, homes, etc.
They are wanting a confrontation. Just sit and wait them out. Cut of supply lines and communications.

Finally they are on federal property and it is up to the feds to deal with it. Ferguson MO had a mayor, sheriff, and governor that needed to deal with it. Same things in Baltimore.
If it were up to me, I would just get some big loud speakers and play loud ass music all night. 24/7 until they were so freaked out they gave up. Put big spot lights up and shoot up random flairs.
No I am not joking. The military does this with Psychological Operations. The Iraqi army hated hearing Metallica and Ozzy 24 hours a day for about a week. Sleep deprivation. These morons would give up in a few days.

I think the govt. learned its lesson with Waco. Unless the "protestors" do something stupid, you won't see a repeat of that debacle.
