Hello from EKU

Hello Herd fans. Been a long time since I’ve made a trip to Huntington. First time was to Fairfield Stadium to hear a Dick Clark Caravan of Stars, several trips back after I left the Tri-State Area for EKU to attend EKU-MU games.
There were some competitive games back in the day. Our Colonels have been down a few years much to our fans displeasure. Of course you guys moved on along with more of our rivals (WKU, MTSU, App State, GA Southern). We dropped the ball (our then President was anti sports and really hurt our program) and so we find ourselves where we are, and none to happy about it. I don’t know what to expect from the Colonels this week. Regardless of last week’s score, they manhandled ‘Head ( played everyone on the team, thus head scored against the 3’s). Our running game was good, but then your defense is NOT Morehead either.
I am hoping for a good game from our guys, it will take all we got and more, and to maybe come away with an unexpected W. Good to renew a game with an old foe.

I honestly hope it IS tight, for a half anyhow. Young qb needs some work and the D looked extra rusty on the back end last week .
