anytime you get a win its definitely better and our D has been better the last 2 games. MU has to get better on O tho. we waste 15 possessions a game on bad shots or TOs and we cant do that if we want to beat good teams in conference play

Listened to the game on Radio [MU Athletics with Steve Cotton]. The HERD defeated the Mocs at their own game (70-66)----"slow down" while employing sticky DEFENSE. Great to see the DEFENSE playing well when the shots don't fall (made 1 goal from 3-point land--average 10 so far) and not very good at the charity stripe. Out rebounded too (Mocs had a 6-11 & a 6-9 guys)...yet Coach Dan gained another VICTORY.

Difficult next week. Travel to Ohio (Athens) to face the Bobcats on Saturday...at highly ranked Xavier next Tuesday evening.

UTC, which now wants to be called "Chattanooga" has two Div I wins, one over 0-7 HBCU Alabama State from the kidding itself by being in Div I SWAC; and the other over 1-7 UT Martin from the one-bid OVC.

Difficult next week. Travel to Ohio (Athens) to face the Bobcats on Saturday...at highly ranked Xavier next Tuesday evening.

Actually we play at 3 Div I wins Toledo on Saturday (Toledo actually lost one of its exhibition games to a Div II team), then we host 4-3 Ohio U a week later, before playing at Xavier and then close out the non-conference season with 2 Div I wins EKU.
