Hope we didn’t schedule La Salle.Better then I expected but honestly with the schedule we should be 5-0. Interesting to see how Queens finishes up this year, they are currently 4-1 with only lose to La salle.
Appy won at ETSU by 4 on Wednesday. Actually, the Apps are having a fairly good season so far. And just noticed that So. Miss is something like 5-0 or 6-0. SBC may be fairly decent and competitive in roundball this season!!Speaking of App State, they lost to Campbell this season on their home floor. Those camels are pesky.
Where is Chase McKey Do not remember seeing him.I enjoy watching the young players. Conner, Frick, and Handlogten are playing unlike freshmen and are making us a better team. With the playing time they are getting, can't help but believe we will be very good by the end of this season. Not sure how that translates into SBC wins, but I am hopeful.
Hurt meniscus which last I heard he was getting surgery on (if he hasn't already) more than likely will redshirt this year.Where is Chase McKey Do not remember seeing him.
Except there are teams that have gotten an at large from conferences as crappy as the SBC through hard scheduling and winning, such as the WCC and even the OVC, which is one of the bottom conferences of the entire division. And except that there is a big difference between getting seeded 12 or 13th and having a real shot at catching the 5th or 6th place team from a “big” conference in an upset, and getting seeded 15th or 16th where winning a game is once in a lifetime special that gets its own 30 for 30. The SBC champion has even been sent to the idiotic “play in game” in Dayton multiple times.I get the point of the schedule being 2.0 this season. However at the end of the day hard schedule or easy schedule we are in a one bid conference. Maybe we can have another hot streak and go to the dance this year. Otherwise I am just going to enjoy the season this year
