According to a tweet from the ticket office, season tickets are now on sale instead of April 25th as originally planned due to high interest. Purdue game and last season's success must be making a difference this year.

I bought three more next to us for family members who want to come in and see the games this fall.

I know of 7 in the section converted to general admission that aren't being renewed. Seems that ticket office could have handled this transition better by offering these folks some better seats at the same price for a great or two. These seven had been held for five straight years. The message basically said you seats stress going to be general admission and you can't buy them as season tickets any more, where do you want to go? I don't understand why a person couldn't but then as season tickets even if other around you bought them by the game. These folks now will try to buy those very same seats/tickets for only the games they can actually make. Purley lost revenue for MU.

I understand your frustration, my seats were converted to GA too. Though, if you'll notice, the GA tickets are flex passes, meaning you get 6 admissions for $100. You're not tied to 1 admission per game, so you can use them for only the games you can make it to. In fact, I was able to drop 1 of my season tickets due to the flex seating. Last year I had to buy 4 season tickets, but only needed 3 this year b/c of the flexibility. I initially felt a little duped by the Athletic Department b/c I upped my Big Green donation last year in order to keep my seats due to reseating just to have them changed to GA this year. But saving $100 on tickets this year b/c of flex seating got me over it. My advice would be to still buy some $100 GA seats since you'll only use them when you can make it anyway. You lose nothing as long as you use 6 admissions.

Interesting, I'll suggest they check it out. Do you buy a specific seat?

No, you're buying 6 admissions for $100 anywhere in the GA sections. Since you're not tied to 1 ticket per game, there's no designated seat. You could use all 6 admissions at 1 game if you choose or break them up in any combination throughout the season.

That's the same way Marshall sells the season tickets for baseball. I love it. I have 1 season ticket. There are 12 games so I have 12 vouchers. I can come to 1 game with 11 friends or come alone to every game.
