On Thursday, Ga. State was tested for covid prior to playing Charlotte on Saturday. Test results showed 4 positives and 17 were identified for contact tracing. So the game was cancelled/postponed. Turns out those results were misread. The game could have been played. That's the crap we're up against.

We have eight games scheduled and we have only weeks ending 11/5 and 11/28 open to fill if the C-USA championship game remains set for Dec. 5, but that could be moved to a later date to accommodate regular season league postponements allowing for a total of 8 CUSA games. UAB can provide us with our shortage of league games to replace Rice and give us two games in the West on 11/7 but there are only six teams competing in CUSA East, so these schools already have all five East opponents scheduled so there can only be a total of seven Eastern Division games unless the league wants to require all of these schools to play an extra division game inside the East, - which is really silly.

The 11/28 date is beginning to fill as UMass had cancelled their season leaving Liberty with a 11/28 vacancy but a new startup on the part of the Minutemen will renew the Flames game in Lynchburg.

UTEP, off to their best start in many years, has an open date this Saturday before playing @ La Tech on 10/10. I can see it - they need the open date - but c’mon man!! Can’t we get a little love for the highest rated CUSA football team in the USA?

No real valid reason, except possibly TV contracts/obligations, why CUSA couldn't move the championship game to Dec. 12th. That would give all league teams an extra week to make up league games, as needed. Also might allow us and ECU to finally play on December 5th, too!

well you can't be too careful with a pandemic with a >99% survival rate. especially with 18-22 year olds that are just about the lowest risk group and we are talking about the strongest and most healthy of that group.
I'm nearly 72 where the survival rate is ONLY 96%, I wasn't worrying about it even before I knew those odds
