This might have been discussed on here before, but while I couldn't find the information. While I was back in town for Homecoming, I was showing my kids the campus. When looking at Holderby Hall, I wondered myself what was at the top. I never gave it a thought when I lived on campus. I asked around at my tailgate and nobody really knew. Someone mentioned an old dining hall. Does anyone have any information about that? Is it just storage now? Any photos from up there? Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the dorm that was at one time South Hall, the top floor was sun decks with a large lounge in the middle. That was my dorm when I first attended MU. They added five more floors to the origin four story structure with the top floor being a lounge.

Word is they plan to tear it down and re-build a newer dorm. Honestly, it should be done to Jenkins, Buskirk, and Prichard halls...ugly as sin, outdated, and really in the way. Tear them down and put them in a group like commons or put Jenkins and Prichard together...it'd really open up the campus.
