homObama claims Trump 'did not solve' immigration 'problem.' The numbers tell a different story

"During Trump's first term, the highest number of illegal border crossings occurred in 2019, when 851,508 people were apprehended or found inadmissible at the southern border, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. That number dropped to 400,651 in 2020, when Trump invoked authority under Title 42 to expedite deportations because of public health concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic."

At the time, that 2019 number was the highest YoY percentile increase in U.S. history. I throw out every statistic related to 2020 because of Covid. Just makes no sense to compare and contrast that year to anything. The point is, the dramatic increase in crossings started under Trump.

I do agree that Biden made a mistake in reversing some of Trump's executive orders but, the issue related to the border is far more complicated than those orders and will never correct itself until the root causes of what is driving folks here changes. Until then, we need three-fold more border agents and dramatic improvements in technology.

If only the current administration and border czar had taken the "apprehended and found inadmissible" approach seriously.
You can look at any metric from any source available and you'll find a dramatic increase in border crossings from 2018 to 2019.

Just stop. There have been issues with immigration that no administration has fixed for decades, but your Dementia Jesus intentionally reversed ALL of Trump's executive orders and that is what caused the numbers skyrocket.

Only a disingenuous political hack like you believes the bullshit talking points the libs are pushing.

Cool, now compare the highest numbers from Trump's term to each year under Biden.

You really don't want this argument and probably should see your way out of this thread while you can.

Remember when the dims said it was racist to have a secure border? Wonder why that position has changed?

Remember? Dems and their bleaters laughed at the notion, saying it was stupid and a waste of taxpayer money.

Dems did everything they could to stop Trump from having it built.

Bleaters were on the boards constantly making fun, degrading and scoffing at the mere mention of a wall, like the good little sheep they are.

Now Dems are campaigning for it, including The Toe, a not one bleater is saying a word. Suddenly, they agree as well. 🤔

Trump was right, yet again.

They're campaigning for it, but aren't about to actually follow through if elected into office.

Good Lord, dude. What's significant about 2019? I know you know.

Now what about Pedo-Joe's years in office, averaging 1.8 million each and every year?

Care to comment? 🙄

The Democrats won't enforce border and immigration laws. It is not hard to see what they are doing. you can have a million border agents and tanks at the border but, if you don't enforce the laws it won't matter. They are doing this on purpose. We all know why.

You also have them working behind the scenes in places like the Darien gap with NGO's helping these people do this.

They are trying to fundamentally change this country. They think it brings them votes. Plain and simple.
